Course Description
The Precise Points Dry Needling Course has been designed specifically for Massage Therapists with a qualification of Diploma Remedial Massage and above.
The course is Massage and Myotherapy Australia endorsed for 30 CPE points.
The Precise Points Dry Needling Course has a strong focus on anatomy, palpation and precise point location.
A wide variety of techniques are taught within the course, to give the student multiple tools to use within the clinical setting.
The course is a combination of online learning and practical demonstrations.
All material is accessible online, with access to over 50 practical video demonstrations.
Online access to all material is for one year.
This includes powerpoint presentations covering all theoretical components of dry needling, skin penetration requirements, quizzes, research papers, practical video demonstrations and much more.
Participants must complete L1 and L2 on the same weekend.
All participants will receive a starter pack at the practical course which includes needles, a sharps container, two colour manuals and more.
The Precise Points Dry Needling Course is facilitated by Gino Lo Pilato, an AHPRA registered Osteopath and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner. Gino completed four years of TCM study at SITCM Sydney, followed by a 6 month internship in China. He is in private practice in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, has taught in the Biomedical Department at the University of Western Sydney for the past 4 years, and been conducting Dry Needling Courses for the past 8 years. Gino has a special interest in the integration of manual medicine with Eastern and Western needling techniques.
