Felicity Braithwaite
  Plenary Presenter

Dr Felicity Braithwaite is a Research Fellow with a background in physiotherapy at IIMPACT in Health, University of South Australia, based at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI). She completed her PhD in 2018 and has received over AUD$5.9 million in competitive research funding, published 45 peer-reviewed journal articles, her research has been presented at >80 international and national conferences and professional events, and she was a 2024 Young Tall Poppy. Dr Braithwaite is passionate about improving pain care through co-designing solutions in partnership with people with lived experience of chronic pain.

  Sarah Fogarty
  Plenary Presenter

Sarah holds a Diploma of Remedial Massage and has been in practice as a remedial massage therapist and acupuncturist for over 24 years. She currently works in a clinic with a women's health focus. She completed her Masters in 2005 and in 2011 was awarded her PhD from the Department of Health Sciences at Victoria University, Australia. She is an adjunct fellow at Western Sydney University, and has published over 50 papers, including papers on pregnancy massage, massage and miscarriage, bereavement massage, and fertility massage. She has presented her research at both national, international and local conferences and massage organisations. Sarah was awarded a Massage Foundation Research Grant in 2022 for her research on pregnancy massage after stillbirth and is only the second recipient to be awarded the grant outside the United States. She is currently serving as an associate editor for the International Journal of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.

  Aubrey Gowing

Aubrey is a college director at Holistic College Dublin, and program developer for our cutting edge Sports Massage course and C.P.D. workshops. His 35 years clinical experience and 30 years teaching experience enables him to bring high standards of professionalism and expertise to each diploma course and seminar. His qualifications include: Diplomas in Holistic Massage, Yoga Teaching, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Healing Therapy, Indian Head Massage, Seated On-Site Massage, Stone Therapy, Pregnancy Massage, Fitness Instruction and Personal Training, Therapeutic Massage, Sports Massage levels 3,4 & 5, Orthopaedic Massage, Myoskeletal Therapy, Neuro-Structural Integration and certificates in Delivering Learning and Occupational First Aid. Aubrey is the author of four books, the acclaimed ‘Myoskeletal and Sports Therapy’ series and the newly released ‘Kinesiology Taping Strategies’ all of which reflect his ongoing interest in the pain free treatment of overuse, repetitive strain and chronic injuries. In addition to his busy international lecturing schedule, he has also served three successful terms as President of the Irish Massage Therapists Association.

  Stuart Hinds
  Breakout Session Presenter

Stuart is one of Australia’s leading soft tissue therapists, with over 35 years of experience as practitioner, working with elite sports athletes, supporting Olympic teams, educating and mentoring others as well as running a highly successful clinic Geelong. Recognised for his expertise in working with Elite Athletes, Stuart has played a key role in soft tissue therapy services to the Australian Olympics Team since 2000 at four separate Olympics (2012 London Olympics, the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the 2004 Athens Olympics and the 2000 Sydney Olympics), and 2014 Glasgow Australian Commonwealth Games. Stuart also works with athletes at his Geelong Clinic including elite road cyclists, adventure racers, swimmers, runner, soccer, track and field, body builders to name but few. He has also worked previously with the National Premiership winning Geelong Football Club (Australian Rules Football League) for eight years.

  Grant McKechnie
  Theory Session Presenter

Grant McKechnie is an Exercise Physiologist and Myotherapist with over 25 years of experience in rehabilitation, education, and clinical practice. He began his career in 2000 at the University of Ballarat's UniSports Exercise Rehabilitation Centre, where he also lectured in rehabilitation anatomy and completed his Master of Applied Science. He later developed and delivered Myotherapy and Remedial Massage programs for the University of Ballarat and private colleges, focusing on injury care, prevention, and rehabilitation. Grant currently works at Ballarat Sports Medicine a multidisciplinary clinic providing education and rehabilitation across musculoskeletal, neurological, metabolic, and cardiovascular conditions. His key interests include persistent pain and pain education, neuroplastic rehabilitation, musculoskeletal and recalcitrant conditions, and sports performance. Grant has worked with Olympic and Commonwealth athletes and served as a rehabilitation therapist for the North Ballarat Roosters (VFL) and as an AFL injury consultant. In 2017, he received the Tony Moynihan Award for Excellence in Myotherapy. Following his scholarship with Pain Revolution in 2020, Grant is active in educating professionals and the community on pain neuroscience and contemporary approaches to recovering from persistent pain.

  Bradley Neate

Meet Bradley, the proud owner of Lions Breath Wellness and the visionary behind Dynamic Myofascial Mobilisation (DMM). With over 15 years of experience in manual therapy, Bradley has dedicated his career to mastering his craft. His deep commitment to learning and growth has led him to study with some of the most respected experts in the field, and he continues to embrace lifelong education as a core value of his practice. Bradley’s enthusiasm for bodywork extends beyond his personal practice to his role as an educator. He has taught courses in myofascial release, joint mobilisation, sports therapy, breathwork, and anatomy and physiology, sharing his vast knowledge with others. Additionally, Bradley developed a three-month training program designed to teach students how to integrate myofascial release and breathwork into their existing practices. His classes are infused with passion for the material, creating an engaging and transformative learning environment that inspires and empowers his students.

  Alison Slater
  Breakout Session Presenter

Alison is a titled Physiotherapist, with a wealth of experience and post-graduate study, including a Master of Manual Therapy (UWA), and a Master of Public Health (UNSW). Alison has worked and taught extensively throughout Australia and the United Kingdom. She has been in solo private practice in Sydney as well as Queensland’s Sunshine Coast since returning from the UK in 2003. Her passion for all things fascia was ignited in 2007 and since that time, she has travelled widely to attend numerous Fascia Summer and Winter Schools, dissection workshops, (tutoring on occasion), and Fascia Research Congresses. Alison is a foundational member of the Fascia Research Society, and very proud to have contributed on the Fascial Net Plastination Project, the end result of which was the world’s first plastinated Bodyworlds® model of the human fascial system. She has published in peer-reviewed journals, as well as contributed to book chapters. Alison’s interest has more recently extended to the arena of canine and equine therapy.

  Tony Stahl
  Pre-Conference Presenter

Tony has been a director and part of RockTape Australia's ownership group since 2010. He is primarily responsible for coordinating education at RockTape. Tony first became involved in the health industry after breaking his leg for a second time playing Australian Rules football. To stay involved with the club, he undertook a VFL Sport Trainers course in 1989. He has provided taping services at sporting events and expos around Australia for 16 years and conducted many education sessions at clinics and universities around Australia. Tony loves a challenge and has completed 29 marathons, 6 ultramarathons, and 2 Ironman triathlons. One of his most memorable recent events was the 2021 Herdy’s Last Man Standing event, where he ran 167km. Now 'retired' from endurance events, he tries to focus on hitting the sweet spot regarding health and well-being.
