Announcing the 2024 National Conference Plenary Speaker
We are thrilled to announce our esteemed Plenary Speaker for the upcoming 2024 National Conference – Distinguished Professor Jon Adams! This thought-provoking Plenary Session, 'Engaging Inspiration and Inspiring Engagement in Health Research,' will delve into the intersection of health research, inspiration and community engagement.
The 2024 National Conference will be held at the Twin Towns Conference and Function Centre in Tweed Heads, NSW on 18-19 May 2024. This fantastic venue is on the New South Wales/Queensland border and is only a ten-minute drive from the Gold Coast International Airport.

About Jon Adams
Professor of Public Health at the University of Technology Sydney, Australia, and holds an NHMRC Career Development Fellowship in CAM and women's health. He is Executive Director of the Network of Researchers in the Public Health of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NORPHCAM) and a Senior Fellow of the International Brisbane Initiative at the Department of Primary Health Care, University of Oxford. Jon is also National Convenor of the 'Evidence, Research and Policy in Complementary Medicine' Special Interest Group at the Public Health Association of Australia, Associate Editor for the peer-reviewed journals Complementary Therapies in Medicine, Journal of Acupuncture and Meridian Studies and BMC Complementary and Alternative Medicine as well as Regional Co-Editor for the European Journal of Integrative Medicine.
