The DHHS Have Not Yet Provided Clarity on Yesterday's Announcements

The Chief Allied Health Officer indicated she was not able to confirm whether or not massage, remedial massage or myotherapy are able to return to routine services and that she is trying to clarify this. At this point in time she advised that our members are not to commence routine services until confirmation is received and it is important to note that the announcements have provided some easing of restrictions but it is not a formal move to the Third Step.

Update on When Metro Melbourne Members Can Return to Work

In a meeting with the Department of Health and Human Services that the Association attended today, the DHHS verbally confirmed that remedial massage and myotherapy will be allowed to reopen for one-on-one treatments when metropolitan Melbourne enters the Third Step of its Roadmap to Recovery.
