Consumers living with chronic pain often require support from a range of health practitioners as part of a multidisciplinary, person-centred approach to pain management. Painaustralia’s National Pain Services Directory helps connect consumers, carers, healthcare professionals and referrers with pain services and practitioners across Australia.

One of the most common questions Painaustralia receives from people living with chronic pain is where they can find appropriate health professionals and services in their local area. The National Pain Services Directory helps connect people with local practitioners and services that have an interest in supporting people living with chronic pain.

Painaustralia, which is the national peak body representing the 4.2 million consumers living with chronic pain, has recently expanded the Directory to include a dedicated Remedial Massage/Myotherapy category and is inviting members of Massage & Myotherapy Association Australia to be part of this national resource.

Listings are available to individual practitioners and practices providing remedial massage and/or myotherapy services. Practitioners providing these services must be current practising members of a recognised Australian professional association and have an interest in supporting people living with persistent or chronic pain.

Practices and practitioners are listed by State and Territory, making it easier for consumers, healthcare professionals and referrers to identify local services.

Painaustralia is offering Massage & Myotherapy Association Australia members a special introductory listing opportunity.

The standard annual Directory listing fee is $250 + GST, with annual renewals ordinarily payable each December. However, M&MAA members who join between September and December 2026 will receive their listing through to December 2027 for a single fee of $250 + GST - providing approximately 16 months of Directory exposure for the price of one annual listing.
