Invitation to attend NSW's SIRA’s Workers Compensation Reforms Information Session

You are invited to attend a NSW State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) hosted Workers Compensation Reform Session – Reasonable and Necessary. This session will outline changes to the workers compensation legislation commencing on 1 October 2026, when health providers, along with insurers and workers, will operate under the new 'reasonable and necessary' provision. It will cover operational and preparation requirements ahead of the October commencement, as well as changes relating to psychological injury and permanent impairment that commenced on 1 July 2026.

Attendance

Attendance is encouraged to support readiness for implementation but not mandatory. Questions raised during the session, together with responses, will be published on the SIRA Workers Compensation Reform Information Hub, where appropriate.
