Pulse Survey - Alcohol and Drug Inquiry
Parliament’s Health, Aged Care and Sport Committee is examining the health impacts of alcohol and other drugs. Massage & Myotherapy Australia is in the process of lodging a submission to secure funded recognition for professional remedial massage therapists and myotherapists in alcohol and other drugs care. It should be noted that, while some data on member services is available through the Association’s 2023 Practitioners' Survey, more detail is required.
This Pulse Survey is intended to amend this limitation. It will gather vital information contributing to the insights and depth of the Association’s subsequent submission to inform the Standing Committee’s considerations, final report and policy recommendations.
This survey is intended for members who provide massage therapy, remedial massage therapy or myotherapy as part of their care for patients undergoing treatment for symptoms of drug or alcohol dependency. For further information please contact Massage & Myotherapy Australia or visit the Standing Committee on Health, Aged Care and Disability here.
Members can claim 5 CPE Points and 1 CPE Hour for completing the survey (a maximum of two surveys can be claimed per year).
