Job Description
We're looking for a passionate and experienced remedial massage therapist to join our growing team as a subcontractor. If you love helping clients feel their best and want to work in a supportive professional clinic environment we'd love to hear from you
As our remedial massage therapist you'll provide high-quality remedial and therapeutic massage treatments to a loyal and growing client base. You'll assess client needs, tailor treatments accordingly and help clients manage pain, improve mobility and support their overall well-being.
This is a unique role. We are a busy clinic with some clients long-standing over 20 years. Our clinic has multiple treatment rooms and is home to an established chiropractic, remedial massage and exercise physiology practice. You will be supported by our high calibre reception staff including HICAPS. It's a warm inviting environment welcoming to the right person. This role has the potential to be between 15 and 20 hours per week. Wage to be discussed and will be based on experience.
Job Requirement
Key responsibilities include
- Delivering professional remedial massage treatments tailored to each client's needs
- Conducting client consultations and health history assessments
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client treatment records
- recommending self-care and follow-up treatment
- maintaining a clean safe and welcoming treatment space
- working collaboratively with the wider clinic team
Job requirements
- Diploma of remedial massage or equivalent recognised qualification
- Current professional association
- Private health fund provider registration or eligibility to obtain
- Current first aid certificate
- ABN (Australian business number)
- Professional indemnity and public liability insurance
- WWCC (working with children check)
