Aubrey Gowing

Aubrey is the author of three books, including the newly released 'Myoskeletal & Sports Therapy – for the upper body'. With 33 years clinical experience and 28 years teaching experience, Aubrey brings a high standard of professionalism and considerable expertise to every training program he delivers. His seamless integration of multimedia technologies into his live presentations is a standout feature that makes for impactful learning and a truly memorable experience! In addition to his international seminars throughout Europe, Australia and Asia, Aubrey is a college director at Holistic College Dublin and served three terms as President of the Irish Massage Therapists Association. He is a senior myoskeletal instructor for the Freedom from Pain Institute, a registered International Training & Education Counsel, National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork accredited instructor in the US and Massage & Myotherapy Australia approved educator in Australia.

 

  Bruce Stark

Bruce is an advanced instructor and practitioner of Ortho-Bionomy. He teaches and presents extensively in Australia and New Zealand and has over 35 years of experience in the field of therapeutic bodywork. Prior to moving to Australia in 2001 he was on the faculty of the University of Wisconsin – Madison Medical School where he taught medical interviewing and physical examination skills. He has contributed to several professional bodywork and somatic therapist publications and presents fortnightly webinars on topics relating to hands-on practice for Ortho-Bionomy and somatic and movement therapists. Bruce maintains a private practice in Sydney.

 

  Joe Rowley

Joe is a physiotherapist and performance coach. His combined experience across multiple health related professions have led to a diversity of experiences ranging from training professional athletes to assisting individuals with severe disabilities. Joe attained his physiotherapy degree from AUT in 2014. Since then, he has completed a Fellowship in Applied Functional Science under Gary Grey and Dr David Tiberio in Michigan, USA (2015), a performance specialisation certification with EXOS (2016), an Australian Strength and Conditioning Association Level 2 certification (2018), and has studied dynamic systems approaches to rehabilitation and sports performance under Frans Bosch (2019, 2021). Prior to becoming a physiotherapist and performance coach, Joe trained and worked as a clinical massage therapist completing a diploma in clinical sports therapy under the tutelage of Roger Gooch in 2007.

 

  Lily Chiu

Lily is a myotherapist and has been in private practice in two clinics in Melbourne, Victoria since 1994. Lily is also a teacher in two colleges of remedial massage and myotherapy where her specialty is with dry needling. She has enjoyed several years working with a variety of elite athletes which have taken her to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and more recently, the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. Lily has worked with 15 Australian Tennis Opens, 12 Herald Sun Cycling Tours, and 10 years with Melbourne Storm (NRL) and Essendon Football Club (AFL).

 

  Roger Gooch

Roger has been a clinical sports therapist for more than 20 years after graduating from the NZ College of Massage with Diplomas in Therapeutic Massage and Body Therapies in 1996. Roger was head of the sports department at the NZ College of Massage from 2002–2006 and helped create its Therapeutic Massage and Clinical Sports Therapy Diploma. He has been a New Zealand Academy of Sports accredited sports massage therapist since 1999 and is Massage Director of Ironman New Zealand. Roger attended both the 2004 Athens Olympics and the 2000 Sydney Paralympics as a member of New Zealand's medical team. He has worked with several high-profile sports teams and individual athletes including the Auckland Blues, Ironwoman Joanna Lawn and Olympic silver medalist kayaker Ben Fouhy.

 

  Virginia Shaw

Virginia is the owner of Shaw Wellness with qualifications in business, fitness, and coaching. As a coach she specialises in making the complex simple so that you can have more time, sleep and the freedom to do the things you love. Currently, she works with a range of clients across a diverse range of areas including health, wellness, weight management, personal productivity, business productivity and planning. But her ultimate geek is processes and procedures and working with entrepreneurs to put these in place to make things cleaner, clearer, leaner and meaner. She changes functional into focused.
