ASSOCIATION NEWS

From the Editor

As I reflect on our Conference, it is clear that its success was founded in the willingness of our community to learn, engage, and enjoy the experience. The diverse range of theory sessions, workshops, and social activities created an atmosphere of knowledge, learning and connections. It was inspiring to see therapists from across Australia come together to share insights, exchange ideas, and build lasting relationships. The commitment to professional growth and the spirit of friendship truly made the Conference memorable. As we embark on a new financial year, Massage & Myotherapy Australia remains dedicated to supporting our members with continued opportunities for learning and networking. Our focus will be on delivering resources and events that foster professional excellence.
Thank you for your ongoing support and dedication to upholding the standards of our profession. Have a great month ahead.

Membership Fee adjustment

Following careful consideration, membership renewal fees will increase effective from 1 July 2024. It is important to note that this was not an easy decision and it is only the fifth time in the Association’s 21 year history that the membership renewal fees have been increased. Please keep an eye out for your renewal notice and adjust any automatic payments. If any members are facing a change in circumstances, please contact the office via telephone to discuss options. Core Body Therapy

Massage & Myotherapy Australia has designed the EEAP to be a source of the highest quality in continuing education for massage therapists and myotherapists. The EEAP courses are programs you can’t get from initial or foundational massage therapy courses. They offer newly emerged concepts, principles, theories and research in massage therapy, bodywork or healthcare. EEAPs have to submit a formal application to the National Education Committee who read, review and assess the application for compliance with criteria for approval for inclusion in the program.
