Description:
Is aromatherapy a part of your massage practice? Do you want it to be? Are you confident in picking out good essential oils? Do you know how to keep yourself and your clients safe while using essential oils?
Join RMT and naturopath Rachel Brennan for the next regional meeting in Ipswich on Sunday the 13th of October at 10am, where we are going to talk about how to pick a good essential oil, regardless of what brand It is, and about essential oil safety. Back when Rachel first studied massage, aromatherapy was a mandatory subject for a whole semester, and from there she went to work in retail aromatherapy. Aromatherapy has remained a great love, and it’s used in her clinic every day and in the therapeutic range of topical products she makes. Rachel believes that a lack of education around safe essential oil use puts massage therapists and their clients at risk, and that something has been lost in the industry now that massage therapists aren’t taught how to use aromatherapy to enhance the therapeutic activity and pleasant experience of massage therapy.
