NSW workers compensation Massage Therapy Fees Order indexed commencing 1 February 2024

SIRA wishes to advise that the Workers Compensation (Massage Therapy Fees) Order has been gazetted and indexed by 5.4%, commencing on 1 February 2024.

The indexation is a composite rate (50% WPI / 50% CPI) based on the figures from the September 2023 quarter. The Wage Price Index used is the ‘Australia Private and Public Health care and social assistance’ index and the Consumer Price Index used is the ‘Medical, dental and hospital services – Sydney’ index.

The updated fees orders, with a commencement date of 1 February 2024, can be found in the NSW Government Gazette No 7 of 12 January 2024 (Other).

All updated fees orders and Fees and Practice Requirements documents will be available on the SIRA website under the Current health-related fees on the List of SIRA publications page from 1 February 2024.
