NT Katherine lockdown downgraded to a lockout

The Northern Territory Government has announced today that the lockdown in the Municipality of Katherine will be downgraded to a lockout as of 12 noon ACST today Saturday 27 November.

It is the Association's understanding that unvaccinated therapeutic massage therapists, remedial massage therapists and myotherapists in the Katherine area are not permitted to treat while this lockout is in place. Fully-vaccinated therapeutic massage therapists, remedial massage therapists and myotherapists living in the Katherine area are permitted to treat fully-vaccinated clients during the lockout, with face masks being required to be worn by both therapists and clients. More information on today's update will be available on the Northern Territory Government website later today.

Massage & Myotherapy Australia will continue to monitor the situation and notify members if there are any changes to these directions.
