NT Katherine lockdown extended by 48 hours / Robinson River lockdown ended
The Northern Territory Government has announced a 48 hour extension to the snap lockdown in the Municipality of Katherine, with the area now scheduled to leave lockdown at 6pm ACST Wednesday 24 November.
Additionally, the lockdown in the Robinson River areas has been downgraded to a lockout. It is the Association's understanding that unvaccinated therapeutic massage therapists, remedial massage therapists and myotherapists in the Robinson River areas are not permitted to treat while this lockout is in place. Fully-vaccinated therapeutic massage therapists, remedial massage therapists and myotherapists living in the Robinson River areas are permitted to treat fully-vaccinated clients during the lockout, with face masks being required to be worn by both therapists and clients.
More information will be available on the Northern Territory Government website soon. Massage & Myotherapy Australia will continue to monitor the situation and notify members if there are any changes to these directions.
