South-East Queensland lockdown extended to Sunday

The Queensland State Government has announced that the lockdown in South-East Queensland has been extended and will remain in place until at least 4pm on Sunday 8 August. For more information click here.

The Association has confirmed that clients can travel further than 10kms for essential treatment. Please note that while 'providing massage therapy for the management or prevention of disease, injury or condition by a registered health practitioner or qualified massage therapist' is permitted in the affected areas, all non-essential treatments should be postponed for the duration of the lockdown.

Massage & Myotherapy Australia will continue to monitor the situation and notify members of any changes to directions.
