South Australia to Enter Six-day Lockdown

The South Australian Premier announced this afternoon that, effective from 11.59pm tonight, South Australia will be entering a six-day lockdown in which only one person per household per day is allowed to leave the house, and only for essentials such as groceries or medical care. More information about this can be found here. It is our understanding at this time that therapeutic massage therapists, remedial massage therapists and myotherapists will not be able to work for the next six days while this lockdown is in place. At the end of this article is a table of support services that can be accessed by anyone who is experiencing financial issues, anxiety, stress or depression.

Massage & Myotherapy Australia will continue to monitor the situation and notify members if there are any changes to these directions.
