Massage & Myotherapy Australia is monitoring media statements issues by the Department of Health in relation to the removal of some complementary therapies from the PHI rebate. The Association has a good relationship with the Minister and has requested clarity around massage, remedial massage and Myotherapy. We will advise members as soon as we receive an official response.

As members can appreciate the media, news and social media often lacks clarity / detail, and if Massage & Myotherapy Australia members have concerns brought forward by their clients, please advise them to approach their independent Funds for clarification, bearing in mind each Fund will have their own policies regarding services that are eligible for refund
