POSITIVE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FROM HON GREG HUNT

Massage & Myotherapy Australia is pleased to have received a positive acknowledgement from the recently appointed Minister for Health, the Hon Greg Hunt in relation to the new quality assurance and professional standards being developed by the Association.

“The Australian Government recognises the important role played by professional bodies, such as Massage & Myotherapy Australia in providing guidance and support to their practitioners. It is vital that professional bodies provide leadership that fosters high standards of ethical practice and conduct for their members”.

The Minister also empathised the need for transparency and accountability within professions and that public safety is paramount. These values form the basis of the Massage & Myotherapy Australia Certification Program which, close to finalisation will become a vital quality assurance platform for the professional growth and development of the sector.
