Enabling Chronic Disease Prevention in the Queensland Health system
The Queensland Clinical Networks have collaboratively agreed to explore opportunities to engage in more chronic disease prevention activity. As the Queensland Health system leader in chronic disease prevention, Prevention Strategy Branch is eager to hear the views of health professionals about the barriers and enablers to prevention practices in clinical service delivery, and how they can support the workforce and system to embed prevention in policy, processes, and practice.
Queensland Health are asking health care workers to complete the survey, Enabling Chronic Disease Prevention in the Queensland Health system, this survey is focusing on secondary and tertiary prevention, defined as:
- Early identification and intervention
- Slowing progression/reducing complications, and
- Avoiding development of multimorbidity.

The survey should take no longer than 10 minutes and eligible to claim 5 CPE Points on completion. Responses are encouraged as soon as possible, but the survey will be close on Wednesday 14 January 2026.
