The Association is partnering with the Australian Diabetes Educators Association

Massage & Myotherapy Australia, in partnership with the Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA), has developed a suite of exclusive online microcredentials tailored specifically for massage therapists, remedial massage therapists and myotherapists. These are the only microcredentials of their kind in Australia designed for qualified therapists and Association members.

The education introduces members to the essential foundations of diabetes, covering topics including but not limited to disease management, monitoring, person-centred care, and associated complications. This important initiative supports therapists in enhancing their understanding of diabetes and their role in the broader healthcare landscape.

Members are eligible to claim 10 CPE Points and 1 CPE Hour per microcredential completed. Please provide the Association with a certificate in order to claim CPE Points as they will not be automatically added.

The Australian Diabetes Educators Association, established in 1981, is the national peak body for diabetes education, management, and care. Its members are healthcare professionals dedicated to delivering evidence-based education and support to people living with, at risk of, or affected by diabetes, helping to ensure the best possible health outcomes.
