Victoria to enter seven-day circuit breaker lockdown

The Victorian Government has announced a seven-day circuit-breaker lockdown beginning Thursday tonight 27 May at 11.59pm and is currently set to end on Thursday 3 June at 11.59pm. As part of this lockdown, there will only be five permitted reasons to leave the home: food and supplies; authorised work; care and caregiving; exercise for up to two hours and with one other person; and getting vaccinated.

During this circuit breaker lockdown, only authorised health services will be permitted to continue treating. At this stage massage therapy, remedial massage therapy and myotherapy are not listed as authorsied health services that are permitted to treat during the lockdown.

It is very unfortunate that we find ourselves in this position once again and we understand how difficult this will be for our members as well as all Victorians.
