In this comprehensive one-day workshop, participants will embark on a journey to explore and engage with the various diaphragms of the body. By seamlessly blending the perspectives of myofascial and somatic approaches, this course promises to be a transformative experience that deepens students' comprehension of both the physiological aspects and palpation skills involved. Throughout the workshop, students will have the opportunity to:

Gain a Holistic Understanding: Participants will delve into a holistic understanding of the body's diaphragmatic structures, encompassing the pelvic diaphragm, respiratory diaphragm, thoracic inlet diaphragm, and cranial diaphragm. This knowledge will provide a solid foundation for appreciating the interconnectedness of these vital anatomical components.

Special Testing Techniques: The course will equip students with specialised testing techniques to assess the condition and function of the diaphragms. These methods are designed to facilitate a nuanced evaluation of each diaphragm's role and potential issues.

Breathwork for Nervous System Balance: An integral part of the workshop involves learning breathwork techniques that contribute to balancing the nervous system. This aspect of the course empowers students with practical tools for promoting relaxation, stress reduction, and overall well-being.

Introduction to General Listening and Breath of Life: Students will be introduced to the profound concepts of general listening and the Breath of Life. These concepts encourage a deeper attunement to the body's innate wisdom and rhythms, fostering a holistic approach to healing and self-awareness.

Hands-On Practice: The workshop provides hands-on experience in working with the pelvic, respiratory, and cranial diaphragms. Through guided practice, participants will refine their palpation skills, gaining confidence in their ability to assess and address issues related to these diaphragmatic structures.

Nervous System Anatomy and Physiology: A comprehensive understanding of the nervous system's anatomy and physiology is crucial for effective diaphragm assessment and treatment. This workshop includes in-depth exploration of the nervous system, enhancing participants' knowledge of its intricacies and relevance to overall health.

By the end of this workshop, students will not only have a profound understanding of the body's diaphragmatic systems but will also possess practical skills and techniques to assess, treat, and facilitate connections within these crucial regions. This integrative approach to diaphragm exploration promises to be a valuable asset for healthcare practitioners, bodyworkers, and individuals interested in holistic well-being.
