1. Definitions
Association means Massage & Myotherapy Australia. Member means a current, financial member of the Association. Referred Therapist means an individual who is referred by a Member and who applies for membership.
2. Offer
When a Member successfully refers a Referred Therapist who becomes an activated Member, the Association will apply three (3) additional months of membership to both the referring Member and the newly activated Member (the Bonus).
3. Eligibility
3.1 Referrer: Must be a current, financial Member in good standing at the time of referral and when the Bonus is applied.
3.2 Referred Therapist: Must meet entry criteria and be approved and activated as a Massage Member, Remedial Member or Advanced Member.
3.3 Ineligible referrals: Self-referrals, duplicate referrals for the same person, and referrals for individuals who already hold an active membership at the time of referral.
3.4 Lapsed Members: Individuals whose membership has been inactive for at least 12 months may be referred and are eligible.
4. Referral method and attribution
4.1 Referrals must be clearly attributable to the Referrer by naming the Referrer (and where possible, Member number) on the application.
4.2 Only one Referrer can be credited per Referred Therapist.
5. Bonus application
5.1 The Bonus is applied after activation of the Referred Therapist’s membership.
5.2 The Bonus extends the current expiry date of the Referrer’s membership.
5.3 The Bonus extends the first term of the Referred Therapist’s membership.
5.4 The Bonus has no cash value, is not transferable and is not redeemable for products, services or fees.
6. Limits and stacking
6.1 Bonuses stack and extend the Member’s expiry date.
6.2 Cap: A Referrer may receive up to six (6) bonus months during this deal's period.
6.3 This offer cannot be combined with other promotional membership extensions unless expressly stated.
7. Timing and verification
7.1 Bonuses are usually applied within 10 business days of activation. Processing times may vary.
7.2 The Association may take reasonable steps to verify eligibility and attribution before applying a Bonus.
7.3 If the Referred Therapist is not approved, withdrawn, refunded, or cancelled during onboarding, no Bonus applies. The Association may reverse a Bonus applied in error.
8. Fair use
8.1 Referrals must reflect personal, good-faith sharing. Public posting to coupon or spam sites, bulk messaging, or misleading promotion is not permitted.
8.2 The Association may withhold or reverse Bonuses in cases of misuse, misrepresentation or fraud.
9. Privacy
9.1 By participating, Members consent to the Association using their details to attribute referrals and to administer the offer.
9.2 Personal information is handled in accordance with the Association’s privacy policy.
10. Changes and closure
10.1 The Association may amend, extend, suspend or end the offer at any time.
10.2 Changes do not affect Bonuses already applied before the effective date of change.
11. Liability
11.1 Nothing in these terms excludes any rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
11.2 To the extent permitted by law, the Association is not liable for any loss arising from participation in the offer, except to the extent caused by the Association’s negligence or breach.
12. Taxes
Participants are responsible for any tax or reporting obligations arising from receipt of a Bonus.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Participants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Victorian courts.
