Providing safe, professional and compassionate care extends beyond clinical technique. It requires an understanding of how relationships influence health, the ability to establish and maintain appropriate professional boundaries, and the confidence to adapt your approach to meet the needs of every patient.

This module brings together three presentations by Isiah McKimmie to explore the foundations of safe practice. You'll learn how relationships and emotional wellbeing can influence physical health, develop practical strategies for creating clear and respectful professional boundaries, and gain an understanding of trauma-informed touch to help create a safe and empowering treatment experience for patients.
