ACT lockdown extended

The ACT Government has announced that the current lockdown has been extended until at least 11.59pm AEST on Friday 15 October 2021. Additionally, there will be some amendments to restrictions including small businesses, social and recreational sport and real estate. For more information click here.

It is the Association's understanding that there is no change to remedial massage therapy and myotherapy services from our last update.

A list of support services can be found below. Massage & Myotherapy Australia will continue to monitor the situation and notify members if there are any changes to these directions.

Payments and services during COVID-19

Australian Taxation Office (ATO)
Tax assistance for those struggling through adversity.

COVID-19 Disaster Payment
This is a lump sum payment to help workers unable to earn income due to a COVID-19 state public health order.
