Call for Submissions: Research Grant Program

The Endeavour College of Natural Health, Office of Research, is committed to expanding knowledge and understanding of complementary medicine (CM) through rigorous, critical research. The Research Grant Program aims to support independent research undertaken by experienced researchers in alignment with the College’s research priorities. The Research Grant Program is open to internal and external Australian researchers in the CM field for projects involving a collaborator who is affiliated with Endeavour.

In previous years, the Program has awarded a number of research projects with a variety of methodologies and topics such as:

Seed Grant - Dr Erica McIntyre, University of Technology Sydney 'The clinical management of mental health by Australian complementary medicine practitioners: A national cross-sectional study'.

Seed Grant – Ms Alana Gall, Menzies School of Health Research ‘Exploring Indigenous Australian cancer patients’ use of Traditional and Complementary Medicines’.

Project Grant - Dr José Caparrós-Martín, Curtin University 'Deciphering the gut microbial relationships and molecular pathways regulated by nutraceutical and food supplements'.

Project Grant - Dr Michael Watson, Endeavour College of Natural Health ‘Effect of QueRcEtin Supplementation On pLatelet function and markers for OxidatiVe strEss and inflammation: RESOLVE study’.

This announcement serves as a call for submissions for the 2019 Research Grant Program. As part of our annual Research Grant Program, this year we are offering competitively awarded Seed and Project Grants.

Available Grants

Endeavour Research Seed Grants will provide a maximum of $3,000 over a 12 month period to fund quality research projects to gather preliminary data in an underdeveloped field of research.

Endeavour Research Project Grants can provide a maximum of $7,000 per year for up to 3 years with the ability to support the creation of new knowledge by funding research projects in any area relevant to CM.
