Course Description
Astrid Diercks specializes in post-graduate and upgrading courses for massage practitioners, nurses, physiotherapists and other health practitioners. She is a German qualified Clinical Massage Therapist, Physiotherapist Hydrotherapist and Lymph drainage expert. She has 35 years of professional experience, including teaching and running successful clinics. Her courses are profoundly practical and designed to give therapists additional confidence and knowledge in their field. Astrid writes her own training programs for courses here in Australia and overseas. She upgrades herself on frequent visits to Lymphologists in Germany and courses in advanced Physiotherapy.
All training courses are reviewed and improved over time as new treatment strategies and medical knowledge becomes available. Every course offered has a listed training schedule, projected outcomes and complies with training requirements for AMMT. Astrid is also a registered ALA/NRLP (Australasian Lymphology Association) practitioner.
