There are no Public Health Directions in effect in Queensland requiring you to wear a face mask. With the removal of these Public Health Directions, it is now up to healthcare professionals to make their own decisions about infection prevention and control measures.
Face masks are still recommended:
- if you're diagnosed with COVID-19 or have symptoms of an acute respiratory infection
- if you're a close contact
- wherever you can't socially distance

This page will be updated if are any changes to these directions.
